Clean and dry the surface before pressing on the adhesive, and mount it around knee to hip height on a path so the sensor catches movement early. Take it down to swap the AA batteries when the light dims.
Use it on stairs, in a shed or cupboard, along a path, or by a door where wiring a light would be a job.
